Yeast diaper rash

Yesterday we took Tessa to the doctor because she had a never ending diaper rash. Turns out it was a yeast diaper rash and we were told to get over the counter lotrinim to treat it. We bought some and started using it. Later that day she started getting a rash on her back and belly. I called the nurse hotline and they thought she was having an allergic reaction. So we gave her Benadryl and were told to make her another appointment the next day. We took her back to Kaiser and they said she wasn’t having an allergic reaction to the cream but has heat rash. So we continued to use the cream which quickly healed her diaper rash. Tessa was a trooper both days and was patient at the doctor’s office.
