Today while running errands Tessa and I stopped to browse around Toys R Us. I had a coupon and wanted to see what toys they had that she could learn how to cut with. She constantly watches us make dinner and wants to help cut things. We found the perfect toy! It is wooden fruit with Velcro inside of it so kids can learn how to cut. Tessa was so excited to open it once we got home. After a few tries she understood how to hold the knife (not correctly but close enough) and was pretend cutting her food. I love that the set came with a little cutting board too!
