Today Uncle Scott and Aunt Penny came by to start Tessa’s vegetable garden. Tessa was so excited to use her tools and Mickey gardening supplies from her birthday.
First, Uncle Scott placed her boxes and prepped the soil.
Then it was time to water the soil. This was Tessa’s favorite part. She loves her Mickey watering can.
Next she planted her radish and carrot seeds. To keep her from digging the seeds back out Uncle Scott told her to cover them up with soil and put them “night night”.
Then they planted red and yellow potatoes
The next box was for tomatoes
The last box has a green pepper, strawberries and zucchini.
Tessa helped the entire 3 hours from start to finish. I can’t wait to see her excitement when her vegetables grow. Thanks again Uncle Scott for sharing your love of gardening with Tessa. I think she is going to love it too!
