Tessa decided she wanted to try ice skating after looking through the community activity guide. Icetown offers a free try it lesson so we decided to give it a go! Tessa was so excited and talked about it all week. I just love how out going she is and is always willing to enter unfamiliar situations without fear. 
We got her ice skates and watched the kids play hockey before her lesson. 
The instructor was very kind and first taught them how to get up from the ice once they fell. They practiced first on the ground before trying it out on the ice.
Then they used buckets to practice matching on the ice.
Lastly they practiced pushing the buckets away a little bit and marching to them.
Tessa came off the ice so excited to sign up for classes! She starts on Tuesday and can’t wait!
