Open

Tessa amazes me everyday. The things she does just crack me up. Tonight we were playing with her Tupperware shape ball (thanks again Robyn!). She chooses a shape, I find the hole, and help her push it in. Once it is full she loves to shake it and then wants you to open it to watch all the pieces fall out. I kept saying “open” and she was trying to repeat the word. Then she decided to make up her own sign language sign for it. She puts out her arm and twists her wrist. I open the ball and we go through the routine again. This time when I ask her what she wants me to do instead of trying to say open she decides to use the new sign that she made up. Luckily James caught it on video. I tried to get a picture of her new sign but it’s blurry.
