I found out that the local ceramic studio has a storytime paint night once a month. I quickly called and signed Tessa up. We left Landon with Daddy and headed out for a date. Tessa was super excited to paint a jack o lantern since we have been reading lots of Halloween books this week. 
At the studio they sat on circles to listen to the story. 
Then we got to paint our jack o lantern coaster. The teacher gave us step by step instructions. Tessa followed them well but wanted to use every ounce of paint they gave us even if we didn’t need it. 
Tessa chose the jack o lantern with the silly face. 
We pick up her finished product on Thursday.
Then we walked around Canyon Crest center and stopped at every fountain. 
We went into Hallmark to look at their Christmas ornaments and Tessa found a Belle and Beast toy she just had to have. 
Our last stop was Miguel’s Jr for dinner where we met up with Auntie. And Tessa ate all of her guacamole! 
I’m looking forward to next month’s date night with my little girly!
