Happy Birthday Mickey

Today we headed to Disneyland for a trip with Paige since she is home from college for Thanksgiving break.  We had a big crew going today…Gigi, Auntie, Aunt Polly, Paige, Aunt Penny, and Brittney.  It also happened to be Mickey’s birthday!

Landon and Tessa decided to wake up wayyy earlier than normal so we were in the car headed to Disneyland at 7:40am!  Landon napped the whole way there which was nice.  Tessa and I talked and she didn’t get the phone the whole drive (I was pretty proud of that).

I brought both kids in their pjs since Landon spits up frequently and Tessa wanted to wear her Belle dress.  We arrived way eariler than everyone else so I was left to manage both kids solo (something I haven’t done yet).

Ready to go.

When we arrived we took a picture to celebrate Mickey’s birthday and then headed to the baby center to feed Landon and let Tessa use the little potty.  After seeing the princesses and Mary Poppins/Bert sing in front of the castle we met up with everyone else.

Landon’s Disneyland trips are pretty boring but he did get to ride the Storybook Canals and watch the Mickey show. While we waited for others to ride Pirates I took off Landon’s pants because it was hotter than expected.

While we did the stroller pass for Toy Stor Mania, Landon and I rode the carousel.  He wasn’t that impressed.

Our last ride was The Little Mermaid and he cried the whole time 🙁 I think 12 hours at Disneyland is a little much for him.

The kids weren’t going to last until park closing so I put Landon in the carrier and pushed Tessa back to the parking structure.  Put them in their pjs and headed home.  I was pretty proud of managing the both of them for our semi-alone Disneyland trip.
