Sticking with tradition we headed to Disneyland to celebrate Fathers Day.
First, the kids gave Daddy their presents. Tessa made him a magnet and wrote a poem at school. Landon drew him a heart and gave him a towel for the BBQ.
Then we headed to Disneyland. First, we took our annual photo. I can’t believe how much they have both grown this year.
Then Tessa and I waited in a long line to see the princesses is hopes to find her Belle to give her the gift Tessa made her, but she wasn’t there today. We happened upon the Mary Poppins show and Tessa was invited to dance with her. I’m so thankful character interactions are back because they make Disney magical for Tessa.
While Tessa and I were busy Daddy took Landon on Haunted Mansion and Autopia. Landon loves to drive!
Then we headed to It’s a Small World before having lunch. Landon loves to find hidden Mickeys and finally saw the one on the ceiling. On the way to riding the Jungle Cruise we stopped to visit with TinkerBell.
Tessa and I got a Starbucks. She is looking so grown up lately!
For Father’s Day James chose a new Mickey watch. The kids love that the arms move around to tell the time.
We rode Mater and then Webslingers. I love how we each get to be our favorite color slinger on that ride.
Daddy and Tessa rode Incredicoaster. Then we finished our day with the Goofy coaster, the Ariel ride and a quick run through the Redwood Creek forest. Our goal was to stay for World of Color but 10:15 wasn’t going to happen.
We ended our night with a stroll through Downtown Disney where we saw lots of pretty floral displays.
