While Gigi was watching Tessa at her house while I worked there was a drama going on in the orange groves. By the time I arrived police were all over the neighborhood and a helicopter was flying right over Gigi and Papa’s house. Turns out they were looking for the driver of a stolen car that was hiding in the Orange groves behind my parents house. We watched all the drama from the upstairs windows.
Turns out they got the girl in the next door neighbors backyard. After it was all said and done Tessa got to meet the firemen and police men that helped protect us. They even gave her stickers. It was an experience to explain to her the role they play in the community.
