December Paint Night
Tonight Tessa and I had our Mommy/Daughter date night. We went to Crafty U Too for their December storybook paint night. This month they read a story about snowmen and painted their own little snowman statue. Tessa was super excited to paint her snowman and I tried hard to let her do it on her […]
See MoreStory Time with Gigi
Gigi joined us at story time today. The fire chief was there to read a story and talk to the kids about fire safety. Tessa only likes the craft part of story time so she doesn’t really pay attention or participate in the songs and dances. Today she found the kids corner and decided puzzles […]

See MoreWhere is thumbkin?
At story time they sing the finger song “where is thumbkin?”. I totally forgot my Grammy used to sing it with me when I was younger. We decided to start singing it with Tessa too. She knew the hand movements pretty well I didn’t realize she paid so much attention at story time.
See MorePark and Storytime
Although it was freezing and windy Tessa and I braved the cold to have some fun at the park. She ran around, went down the slides, and picked “berries” from the ground. I was proud she wore her gloves almost the whole time. Then it was time to go to storytime. […]
