I’m so thankful I have a supportive family. Tia and Auntie kept Tessa happy all day long even if they had to give her lots of fruit snacks. They got her ready and dressed and brought her to the hospital to meet Landon. I read that I shouldn’t be the one holding Landon when she arrives so she doesn’t feel replaced. I had Papa hold him so I could be free to give her attention. Turns out she was ready to be a big sister and wasn’t upset at all. I was an emotional mess worrying about how she was feeling. Landon got lots of love and kisses from his big sister.
I stayed with Landon as everyone else headed home. James took Tessa home to keep things normal for her. After a nap he came back to the hospital around midnight to help me with Landon. Landon ended up nursing a ton that night and pooped a lot. We learned that he likes to wear clothes and hold my finger while nursing.
