Recently Tessa has been very interested in helping in the kitchen. Now that she can climb into her “helper” by herself she wants to help me make everything. Today I let her help me cut up the cantaloupe. I gave her a butter knife and told her to be extremely careful. She did a good job and kept sneaking in bites. She normally doesn’t eat cantaloupe but since she helped prepare it she enjoyed it more. She even took a bowlful over to Gigi’s house for a snack.
