My furniture refinishing project continued while James and Papa worked on the sprinklers. This meant Landon had a day outside getting into dirt and making a mess.

This weekend we stayed home to work on projects around the house. I’ve been working on refinishing a bedroom furniture set and James worked on the lawn with Papa and Tessa. First, the kids went swimming in the little pool. Then Tessa helped in the yard.

Landon got his first taste of sweet tea today. Gigi came over to help me refinish a bedroom set. Daddy watched the kids play in the kiddie pool while we worked. We brought home McDonald’s and Landon got his first taste. He of course loved it! Landon loved the corn bread we had with dinner.

Tonight I took Tessa to story time at the pottery place. They read Rainbow Fish and painted their own fish. Tessa painted it all by herself and made scales using her thumb prints.

Another Disneyland day! They changed the Disney Jr show at California Adventure to a dance party which is pretty much made for Tessa! She loved it! The best part was the characters come out and dance. We also met up with Paige, Amanda and Amanda’s college friend. Tessa couldn’t wait for the Electrical Parade.
