Today while checking on Tessa’s garden we noticed that some of her veggies are growing! It’s so exciting! She has two tomatoes, the peppers are sprouting, and a few strawberries. We let her pick a radish to check on their progress. It is a little small but that’s probably because Tessa planted the seeds close […]

Cha Cha Slide
At Aunt Polly’s house today Tessa danced to the Cha Cha slide with Auntie Madi. Tessa loves to dance!
See MoreCookie Monster
Tessa has been asking to bake cookies all the time. We decided to make them today since I was turning on the oven to make meat loaf for dinner. *side note: I put zucchini in the meat loaf and she didn’t even notice! Tessa is a great helper and is learning lots from baking. […]
See MorePrincess books and purse
I found these princess books Tessa was given a while ago and brought them out for her. Today she took them in her purse (from Fred and Mary Jo) in the car to keep her busy on the drive to the trampoline park with Daddy.
See MoreMommy-daughter Disney day
Today Tessa and I went to Disneyland together. Tessa was great on the drive there! She played with her Snow White doll (she even told her they were going to see the parade today) and read her zoo book. We have to go on Friday-Monday (for this month) since that’s when Mickey and the […]
See MoreThe Beast
Tessa has been into “the Beast” lately from Beauty and the Beast. She hasn’t seen the movie yet because I don’t want her to be scared. We have read the Golden Book version of the story though. Aunt Penny found her the Little People set with Belle and the Beast as well as Aladdin and […]
See MoreFixing the trolley
Recently Tessa has been using her imagination and pretending with her Little People. Tonight she was pretending that the Disneyland trolley broke down and Goofy had to fix it. She also sets up the Disney characters as though they are watching the parade. I love how creative she is becoming.
See MoreShapes and Colors
Tessa is getting really good at knowing the names of her shapes and recongizing them. Today she learned octagon and pentagon. Next we are learning diamond and trapezoid. Colors are another story. We are still practicing! Yellow has become her new favorite color so she knows that one well. Sorry for the shaky videos
See MoreDancing with the Stars-Disney Night
James and I have been watching DWTS with Aunt Penny since before Tessa was born. Now that she is older we record it and watch it on Tuesday so she can join us. She seriously loves to sing and dance all the time. I’m pretty sure we have a future performer in the family. Tonight […]
See MoreDaddy I need yogurt
Back when we were trying to wean Tessa off of the boobies James would give her a yogurt in the middle of the night when she woke up hungry. After a week she stopped waking up for it. In the last two weeks she has been yelling for James to bring her a yogurt about […]
